About Community Over Cancer
Community Over Cancer 12 will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the Gemini Sportsplex in Strathroy. Doors will be open at 4:30pm and dinner will begin at 5:30pm.
The purpose or goal of this event is to raise funds to support local families battling cancer and to support The Strathroy Hospice .
A portion of the funds from this event will go directly into the hands of local families battling this disease, another portion will go to support The Strathroy Hospice.
Dr. Tyler Damen began his own charity, Chiros Care after battling Melanoma Cancer throughout 2006/2007. He understands and knows first-hand the struggle and hardships the families go through while supporting their loved ones.
The funds can help cover all the unpredicted expenses: parking, food, childcare, medication, hotel stays, and the list goes on and on. The funds are to use as each family sees fit. It feels good to donate to the fight against cancer and it will feel just as good to know your money is going to friends and family right here in this community.
